The Artworks Northwest Biennial is a juried invitational for artists who reside in the Pacific Northwest (Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, British Columbia, Western Montana and Western Wyoming). This remains a critical show of the discourse, dialogue, and practices happening with contemporary artists in the region. This year’s exhibition will be curated by Arvie Smith, a Portland, Oregon-based painter, professor emeritus, lecturer, and community engager.
