About

The chef and owner, Gilberto Duarte, comes from the beautiful state of Michoacan, Mexico. He began his first restaurant in 1983 with his cousins in Salem, Oregon.

After years working with his cousins, he went into business for himself along with his family and son, Gilbert Jr., continuing to serve delicious food to the customers that they’ve grown to love over so many years.
