The Umpqua Valley Rainbow Collective is a queer-led group based in Douglas County, Oregon.  Our organization strives to meet four goals: community building and organizing, awareness and visibility, mutual aid, and civic engagement. We are event planners, building up our local queer community through events and providing connection to other queer individuals in the area.

As community organizers, we ensure that we are future-focused and that our events are done in a way that involves the whole, rather than the individual. Visibility, showing others in our greater community that we exist, is an everyday focus. We provide mutual aid, ensuring that we show up for each other when difficult circumstances arise. Our members look to be engaged in our community by supporting queer-positive policies in the county.
