The Douglas County Fair is here once again! This year the fair will be August 9 through the 12th. There’s plenty to do at the Douglas County Fair for the whole family, including live music, livestock and craft exhibits, vendors, carnival games and rides, and more! Here are all the details on this year’s Douglas County Fair.
When is the Fair?
August 9 – 12, 2023
Main Gate: 7 AM - 11 PM
Carnival Gate: 10 AM - 11 PM
Carnival Rides: 11 AM - 11 PM
Wednesday, August 9th: Rides open at Noon
Buildings: 11 AM - 10 PM
Live Entertainment

Livestock
Local 4-H and FFA members will be showcasing their livestock at the fairgrounds. Livestock exhibits include cows, horses, pigs, chickens, and even some bunnies! Don’t forget to check out the bull riding competition on August 9th!. On Saturday, August 12th at 4pm, the Roseburg Rotary Auction will take place in the Don Lilja Pavilion.
Carnival Rides & Games
Try your luck at the carnival games and win a prize! Or take a spin on some of the rides. You can buy an unlimited ride pass for $30 before August 4th. After August 4th the price increases to $45. Visit the website for more information and to buy tickets.
Vendors
There will be hundreds of vendors at the fair featuring local art, businesses and more! Find gifts for the people in your life or maybe just a gift for yourself.
Transportation
Parking at the fairgrounds is $10 per car, or you can take the bus from one of these locations for free! Buses run from 11am to 11pm every half hour.
