Music on the Half Shell

This annual outdoor concert series is a weekly summer must. Free concerts take place at the scenic, river-front Nichols Bandshell at Roseburg’s Stewart Park each Tuesday from June 27 to August 11 (no concert July 4). Bring a bottle of wine, picnic blanket and grab some dinner from local food trucks onsite.

The 54th Annual Summer Arts Festival will once again fill the lush lawn of Fir Grove Park with a large variety of local art and craft vendors. The festival typically brings in more than 130 vendors and also offers a Kids Zone, music, entertainment, along with food and beverages. Days and hours are June 23, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; June 24, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; June 25, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is located at 1624 W Harvard Avenue in Roseburg.

This nationally-treasured event for classic car enthusiasts and families will be taking place July 5th to 9th. Each day of the festival is packed with multiple events (a total of 22) in multiple locations throughout the Roseburg area including the 40th Annual Stray Angels Show-N-Shine at Melrose Vineyards and the Seven Feathers Outdoor Concert featuring the band, America.

Growing Miracles Lavender Festival & Farm Tour

This free event invites guests to experience a beautiful, large-operating lavender farm. The festival will take place July 7th to 9th and includes tours of the farm, lavender u-pick, demonstrations, local vendor booths, food, music, and activities. It is located at 508 Lower Garden Valley Road in Roseburg.

Bullriding during the Douglas County FairDouglas County Fair

Cotton candy and hot dogs will fill the air again at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Roseburg August 9 through August 12 as the Douglas County Fair returns. The county fair includes carnival rides, favorite fair food and vendors, exhibits, animals, bull riding, race car driving, and a great lineup of entertainment including 38 Special, Neal McCoy and Craig Morgan.

The Vineyard Tour - Cycling Event

Hosted by the Umpqua Velo Club, this epic weekend event is one of the most scenic cycle rides in Oregon. Experience rolling hills to flat farmland stretches with road or gravel-ride options on Saturday and then the official Vineyard Tour on Sunday featuring five rides varying from 15 to 100 miles. Pre and post-cycle participants get to enjoy a full weekend itinerary at local wineries, breweries and restaurants throughout the weekend’s social events. The Vineyard Tour is September 1-4.
