Day 2: Wine Tasting and Farm Stands

Unwind with a wine tasting tour in the Umpqua Valley. Visit esteemed wineries like Abacela, known for its Tempranillo, and stop by nearby Brosi’s Sugartree Farm on your way back to town for fresh seasonal produce including U-pick apples and pumpkins in the fall. On your way out to HillCrest Vineyard, the birthplace of Oregon Pinot Noir, stop by The Farmstand by Lehne Farms for pastries, coffee and some local produce. Conclude your day with a gourmet dinner at True Kitchen + Bar in downtown Roseburg. Or if it is Saturday, stop by the Umpqua Valley Farmer’s Market located in downtown Roseburg.

Day 3: History and Local Culture

Delve into Roseburg's rich history with a self-guided walking tour of downtown Roseburg, starting with The Ghosts of Roseburg’s Past, and learn about interesting individuals who used to call Roseburg home. Afterwards visit the Douglas County Museum to explore exhibits on local heritage, and don't miss the Floed–Lane House, a Classical Revival home dating back to 1854. Or take a sight-seeing tour of the historic Covered Bridges around Douglas County.
