Crater Lake, Oregon’s sole National Park, lies just 44 miles down the road from Diamond Lake. The Southern entrance is usually the only way to access the park during the winter months. Typically, Crater Lake accumulates 8-10 feet of snow on its rim during the winter, presenting an ideal opportunity to revel in the snow and enjoy breathtaking views.
