Cross-Country Skiing is another option to explore parts of the Umpqua Forest with seven miles of groomed trails and over 35 miles of backcountry trails. Diamond Lake is a popular spot for snowmobiling and families hitting the snow tubing park where there is a 470-foot wonder carpet lift for easy uphill treks, fast tubes and multiple lanes. While at Diamond Lake, adventurers can also make their own path with Cat Ski Mt. Bailey – the longest-running snowcat operation in the northwest.
