Umpqua Velo Club is a friendly recreational cycling club in Roseburg, Oregon. Our goal is to reach out to the community to include bicycle riders of all levels and abilities. It's the perfect way to discover new routes, new riding buddies, improve your group-riding skills, get bike shop discounts and connect with fellow cyclists in a social setting.

You can join us for weekly club rides, and also learn things from other cyclists like bike-repairs, used bikes for sale, workout ideas and other secrets to improve your cycling. Umpqua Velo Cycling Club has several members who meet and ride year-round. Your first ride with the club is free, but you must sign a waiver. Become a member now to enjoy the camaraderie and safety of riding with a group.

Douglas County offers some of the best road bike riding in Oregon. Whether you ride a few miles on the bike trails in Roseburg or a 100-mile century along the natural beauty of the Umpqua River. Bicycling in the Land of the Umpqua offers endless scenic adventures for your enjoyment.

Oregon's only National Park, Crater Lake, has a rim ride with incredible mountain scenery and views of the lake. It is also the starting point of the annual Crater Lake Downhill bike ride back to Roseburg along the North Umpqua River. We encourage you to join the Umpqua Velo Club so we can share our experiences bike riding in Douglas County and Southern Oregon. Ride with friendly people like yourself…there is safety in numbers!
