Pargeter Building Mural
This mural is titled "The Watcher", featuring local flora and fauna of Oregon and a couple iconic landmarks of Roseburg. The Western Meadowlark, steelhead trout, Oregon grape flower, Umpqua Mariposa lily, the Umpqua river, Mt. Thielsen and even the iconic Mt. Nebo Weather Goats; all flowing out of "The Watcher", represented by the black bear. Creating a piece of art that locals are proud of, but highlighting the beauty of what tourists come to see.

About the Artist
Brooks Engel is an illustrator, and designer based in Denver, CO fueled by adventure, bold graphics, and handcrafted art inspired by the outdoors, pop culture, and anything with skulls on it. For the past 10 years he has been creating art under the name Nowhere Land, where he works with small and large businesses to design custom apparel, beer labels, branding, and everything in between. His art encourages exploration and self-expression, inviting people to embrace their “Nowhere Land”—a place of personal discovery.
